I found many huge differences between the Japanese Starbucks and the American one.  On the beverages, the Japanese focused on the new autumn blend while the American focused primarily on the coffee making process.  Furthermore, the Japanese website design is more aesthetically pleasing and seems more inviting and colorful than the American.  The food is tailored to each respective country.  The drinks are more similar but the ingredients are different to tailor to individual tastes of the countries.  Overall, they are relatively similar to each other, but distinct differences that individualize each menu.

Sooo After a couple weeks, I am completely in love with writing the language.  Homework  is obviously no ones favorite, but once I figure it out, I love writing the characters.  Spoken it is such a beautiful language.  I think it is funny in class when we go to pronounce sounds we typically do not say, it is such a transition.  I have been meaning to watch more tv or listen to Japanese music to try and pick up more of the language every day, but I have been far too busy to do that.  What I found to be my coolest experience so far is that I had a dream where one interaction was in Japanese!

Kon banwa! As long as I can remember I have loved all things Japan.  In elementary school I studied the architecture and culture and since then, I have actively pursued study about Japan.  Now I am finally fortunate enough to learn about the language!  This past May, I was fortunate enough to visit Tokyo with the trip through the school.  It was one of the best experiences I've ever had.  I learned a ton about Japanese cultural norms as well as business.  More importantly, I was able to take what I learned and apply it to my own life.  Now I get to learn the language!
